National Tartan Day Cocktail Reception on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.

Cocktail Reception, co-sponsored by the National Capitol Tartan Day Committee, Inc. (NCTD) and the Friends of Scotland Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives. Members of the Friends of Scotland Caucus are expected to attend, as is a delegation of visiting Scots Parliament members and other government officials from Scotland. Alex Salmond, First Minister of Scotland, will be among them.

Remarks about the importance of Tartan day and the enduring bonds of friendship between Scotland and the USA will be made by the American and Scottish politicians, as well as by a number of individuals representing the Scottish-American community. There will be an open bar, and heavy hors d'ouvres will be served. Traditional Scottish entertainment will be provided.

This event is "by invitation only" and an RSVP in advance is required. No tickets will be sold. Space is limited. A Guest List will be maintained at the door.

Please complete this RSVP form and mail it with your donation. A suggested $25 advance donation to NCTDC is requested, which should be in the form of a check accompanying your RSVP form. Please return your completed RSVP form no later than Friday, 28 March 2008.
